Before entering private practice, he served more than 20 years in the Japanese judiciary, including at the Tokyo District Court, the Tokyo High Court, and as a Research Judge at the Supreme Court of Japan, where he handled over 2,000 intellectual property disputes. His experience provides unique insight into judicial decision-making, trial management, and appellate strategy.
